Terms of Service

Welcome to PhotoRevive. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://photorevive.cn and the AI old photo restoration service we provide (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

PhotoRevive offers AI-powered restoration of damaged or low-resolution photos. You upload a photo, pay for a restoration, and receive a high-resolution restored output. Restoration is performed by third-party AI image restoration models. Output quality may vary depending on the input image.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • Price: USD $4.99 per restoration (single use).
  • Billing model: pay-per-use. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge.
  • Payment processor: Creem.io (Merchant of Record). Supported card networks include Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and Discover.
  • Currency & tax: prices are displayed in USD. Applicable taxes are handled by Creem as the Merchant of Record.

3. Refund Policy

Because each restoration consumes computational resources immediately upon payment, all sales are generally final. However, we will issue a full refund if:

  • The Service fails to deliver any restored output; or
  • The output is technically unusable due to a service-side error (e.g., corrupted file, failed processing).

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase via hello@photorevive.cn. Refunds are processed within 5 business days through the original payment method via Creem.io.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • Upload photos of which you do not own the copyright or have permission to process.
  • Upload illegal content, including but not limited to CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that violates applicable laws.
  • Attempt to identify, track, or surveil any individual without their consent.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its API.

You retain full ownership of the photos you upload and the restored outputs you receive.

5. Intellectual Property

The PhotoRevive name, logo, website design, and underlying code are the property of the PhotoRevive operator. You retain all rights to your uploaded photos and the restoration outputs. We do not claim ownership of, nor will we use your photos for, model training, advertising, or any third-party purpose beyond delivering the restoration service.

6. AI & Independence Disclaimer

PhotoRevive is an independent service. Photo restoration is powered by third-party AI image restoration models. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any specific AI model provider. AI-generated outputs may contain artifacts or differences from the original photo; results are best-effort and not guaranteed to be perceptually identical to the source.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PhotoRevive, its operator, and its third-party providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the affected restoration order.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We will use commercial best efforts to notify users of major changes via the website or email.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent court at the operator's registered location.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
